Question by Jc: can i do anything with this celeron computer to run world of warcraft?
I have a really old celeron computer that is kinda useless, and the laptop that i am on right now..
my celeron computer is really old but it is a desktop so i am wondering if i can switch the processors in the computer with a newer processor maybe from newegg.com and a new video card, would it be able to run world of warcraft the celeron computer is an Emachines H2742…
the only reason why i want to upgrade that computer is because this laptop cannot run world of warcraft without choppy gameplay and is pretty annoying, it is a acer extensa 4420.i have called future shop and they said i should buy a new computer for about 0 but i don’t have that much money to spend on a computer.he said it was useless to upgrade the celeron because the celeron motherboard probably won’t be able to support a new processor so i will have to get a new motherboard and then the power supply might not be able to support the motherboard or processor so i’ll have to get a new power supply…
but the thing is even if i have to get all those things it would still be cheaper then buying a brand new computer for 0, couldn’t i get older processors to go with the motherboard in the celeron, the only reason i want to salvage this old celeron is because the case is still perfectly fine, the fans in it are still working im pretty sure the hard drive is still ok, the power supply might be alright (im not sure what the specs are for the comp cause i can’t find it on the internet), i already have windows XP disk so i can install it to as many computers as i like..
also would this be hard to do just switching the processor and video card im pretty sure the video card i’ve watched a computer get built its pretty straight forward just take out the old video card put in the new one but is putting a new processor hard? i don’t have to change the dvd drives, or motherboard i don’t think, all that stuff is already done.

Your desktop PC is pretty useless for games most likely due to its weak/outdated integrated graphics. If PC has a graphics expansion port, then simply installing a ~ AGP graphics card should significantly improve its gaming performance. If RAM is <<1GB, better upgrade RAM. You may not even have to upgrade that Celeron if it is only Warcraft that you want to play.

about OLdschool wc3 : Each orc played farseer against UD and none has played BM he is just played since 1.20 maybe 1.80 (I am not sure´) but nearly every UD played ghouls against orc!!!!! And in this time UD was much harder for Orc then nowadays where 1 BM a whole use UD pwns!

There’s always the Mac Store which is probably the most expensive, but if there’s a BestBuy in England it’s cheap there. Try Toys”R”Us or any used videogames store, in the US there’s usually a computer game section in a Video Game Store. Get it for Used, make sure the serial # works first.

there’s a secret area in the dungeon chapter just left of the 3rd lieutenant with some sheep and some buttons. If you press them in the right order you get a bonus tower defence mission type thing. Survive 30 waves and you get a panderan brewmaster for this mission.
