Question by Aaron V: I need help with a graphics card ?
I am buying a barebones kit of and Asus P5KPL-AM SE that comes with the mother board, tower, Intel Penteium Dual core Processor, 4GB desktop memory. I need to know what power supply i should buy and how much RAM, Hard drive,and Also the big one, the graphics card. I have searched everywhere and i am clueless as to which one i should get. Im rly big into the lord of the rings online and world of warcraft so i want a card that can allow me to play those two games. Also the cheaper it is the better. Anyone have any advice or suggestions?

the “4GB desktop memory” is your ram, and with that shity computer, berly a AGP card is worth it, dont buy it ,save and buy a NEW computer, not something my 4 year old laptop (that im on now) can beat ( and it wasent new when i bought it)..
That PC isn’t particularly powerful by today’s standards, but your needs (for online gaming) aren’t that overwhelming, either. A dual Pentium is more than enough for those games.
A good a video card for LOTR & WoW would be the GeForce GT 240 or the Radeon HD 4650 (or better). Those are last generation cards, but don’t pull much power and have more than enough graphic performance to exceeed those games recommended system requirements. You’re looking at the $60-80 price range.
Any reasonable power supply of 400W or greater is enough for that system. I’d suggest 500W to allow you some headroom if you ever decide to upgrade your video card in the future.
